ACM has over 25 workstations, many of which are “celled” together for optimal efficiency. We can turn parts up to 60” diameter on our lathes. Our milling equipment can handle parts up to 30” wide, 72” long and 25” tall. Much of our work is done with cast iron, but we can also machine aluminum, steel, and bronze bar stock as well. We can saw, turn, drill, mill, tap, and paint on site, as well as do some welding, and press assembly. We also have relationships with proven vendors for those services we cannot provide directly such as heat treating and grinding.

Tolerances for many of the pieces we machine are .001 or tighter. The lab at ACM has a magnaflux for checking cracks and similar material defects, a hardness tester, and a C.M.M. We also have the ability to pressure test castings for leaks.
