Aurora Custom Machining, Inc. (ACM) is a high precision machine shop that has serviced the locomotive, pump and aerospace industries for over 35 years. Located in Aurora, Illinois, about 45 miles west of downtown Chicago, ACM has the capability to machine small, medium and large parts to exacting dimensions and tolerances.

ACM was founded in 1973 by Jim Willard. He was successful in building the company to over $10 million in sales through his knowledge of machining, inventiveness and innovativeness in fixturing machines to efficiently produce products at reduced cycle times. For ten years the company was owned by a private investment group and in August of 2008, Nick Ruitenberg and Carl Brogdon purchased ACM. Together with Dave Lesperance its President; Nick, Carl and Dave have over 50 years of experience in the machining industry.
